"Lavazza" buy Brazilian coffee company






















Lavazza Italian group signed a contract to buy the Brazilian company Cafe Grao Nobre Ltda. 
Thus, the Italian group took control of the Brazilian firm that is a leader in the distribution of coffee in Rio. 

The operation is part of the strategy group for expansion of developing markets. It started last year with the arrival of the Indian market. 

Through this operation Lavazza "hopes to build health in Brazil, which is the most important producer of coffee in the world. It is the second consumer of coffee after the United States. 

Group provides Turin in Brazil to invest 30 million euros over the next three years. They will be directed to the production and sales structure to the company. 

"Lavazza" is the sixth in Europe by volume bought coffee. It bought 2.3 million bags in raw coffee annually. Half of it imported from Brazil. 

According to Chief Executive Officer of the Italian Group Alberto Lavatsa and it feels very attached to Brazil, since that side has submitted its first coffee shortly after its founding. 

"Without Brazil Lavatsa will not exist," says Alberto Lavazza. 

In Italy Lavazza "is an absolute leader in sales of coffee for home consumption. Last year the group's turnover exceeded one billion euros

The Best Vodka 2008

In tasting contest «The best vodka 2008/Best Vodka 2008» was attended by 73 vodka brand, producing quality products that define the highest priority in the work. It is not all the samples collected the necessary number of points for the awarding of medals. 
The medals were awarded on the results of evaluations of professional tasters liquor and vodka. Samples were evaluated during the closed (blind) tasting of organoleptically indicators: color, aroma and taste.
